Özet
Gökyüzü insanlık tarihi boyunca gizemli bir alan olarak görülmüş, toplumların ilgisini çekmiş ve araştırma konusu olmuştur. Bu araştırmalar önceleri tek bir disipline ait iken sonrasında astroloji ve astronomi olarak ayrılmışlardır. Astronomi gökyüzündeki yıldız, gezegen ve diğer gök cisimlerini araştırıp elde ettiği bilgileri insanlığın hizmeti için kullanan pozitif bilimlerden biridir. Pozitif bilimler arasında yer almayan astroloji ise astronominin elde ettiği bu verilerle gökteki cisimleri, evrenin görünen kısmından hareketle görülmeyenlerin habercisi olarak simgelemiştir. Astrolojinin ilk ortaya çıkışı ise tarihte birtakım insanların veya toplumların gök cisimlerine ve onların bir araya gelerek oluşturdukları şekillere kutsallık atfetmeleriyle oluşmaya başlamış ve bir inanç sistemine dönüşmüştür. Bu inanç sisteminin bir benzeri Cahiliye devrinde de görülmüştür. Yıldız falcılığı olarak da bilinen astroloji gökyüzündeki takım yıldızlarını (burç) doğum tarihlerini göz önüne alarak hangi takım yıldızının kişinin karakterini nasıl etkilediğini ve geleceğini nasıl şekillendirdiğini yorumlamayı amaçlar. Bu bilgiler ışığında çalışmada gökyüzü ile bağlantılı kavramlar incelenerek astrolojinin tarihsel süreciyle birlikte dinlerle bağlantısı açıklanmaya çalışılacaktır. Özellikle konu, İslam inancı ve kelam ilmi açısından ele alınacak, insanın kaderinde burçların etkisinin olup olamayacağı incelenecektir. Çalışma kapsamında “astroloji bir bilim midir?” sorusuna da cevap verilmeye çalışılacaktır.

Abstract
The sky has been seen as a mysterious area throughout human history, has attracted the attention of societies and has been the subject of research. While these researches belonged to a single discipline at first, they were later divided into astrology and astronomy. Astronomy is one of the positive sciences that researches stars, planets and other celestial bodies in the sky and uses the information it obtains for the service of humanity. Astrology, which is not among the positive sciences, symbolized the objects in the sky with these data obtained by astronomy as the forerunner of the invisible from the visible part of the universe. The first emergence of astrology, on the other hand, began to occur in history when some people or societies attributed holiness to celestial bodies and the shapes they formed by coming together, and it turned into a belief system. A similar belief system was seen in the Age of Ignorance. Astrology, also known as astrology, aims to interpret how the constellation affects the character of the person and how it shapes the future by taking into account the birth dates of the constellations (zodiac sign) in the sky. In the light of this information, in this study, the concepts related to the sky will be examined and the historical process of astrology and its connection with religions will be tried to be explained. In particular, the subject will be discussed in terms of Islamic belief and theology, and it will be examined whether the effects of horoscopes on the destiny of human beings. Within the scope of the study, "Is astrology a science?" An attempt will be made to answer the question.
